Joe Mackool opened Mackool Firearms in the 1980s and provided Tulsans with high quality gunsmithing services and some of the best name brand firearm products in the industry. Since that time Joe Mackool sold the shop in the early 2000s, however, the reputation of Mackool Firearms encouraged the new owners to keep the name. 918 Guns purchased the storefront and name in 2021 and we are proud to keep Joe Mackool’s name on our sign as a reassurance that you will receive the best gunsmithing and retail experience possible.

Today we offer the most extensive gunsmithing services in the area. From simple cleaning and reassembly to complete restoration projects including hot bluing, rebarreling, or threading barrels. Or retail section offers a wide variety of modern and classic firearms focused heavily on collectible and military-surplus firearms.
